How Tenet works

Four steps.
One honest loop.

Every serious research desk works to a repeatable loop — form a thesis, test it, review whether it held. Tenet compresses that loop from months into a week, and holds you to it.

01

Bring a ticker

Search any stock, ETF, or crypto — or pick from the daily Discover feed of screener-driven ideas.

The Discover feed is generated every weekday from the day's biggest movers, filtered for setups worth a look and framed by a one-sentence grounded thesis. Search works on ~10,000 listed U.S. equities and ETFs, plus the major crypto pairs. Mutual funds are treated as a longer-horizon holding — no intraday range, no day-trade framing.

02

Understand the why

A personalized, two-sided breakdown — thesis, bull, bear, macro forces, technicals, and a plain-English glossary.

We pull a verified fact sheet — price, key levels, filings-derived fundamentals, real news — and hand it to the model, which reasons only over that sheet. Every claim is grounded in something you can point to. The tone adapts to your experience level: more glossary for beginners, tighter and more technical for advanced users.

03

Test the conviction

Place a pre-sized paper order against real market prices. Realistic fills, no money at risk, always labeled practice.

Position sizing is deterministic — computed from your buying power, risk tolerance, and the model's confidence, by our code (not the model). The AI supplies the conviction; the dollar amount is math. Trades are executed against live prices with realistic fill logic, so what you see is what a real broker would give you.

04

Come back for the retrospective

Every saved thesis returns for review. See which bull and bear points held — and why — not just what the P&L did.

The retrospective produces one entry per original bull and bear point. Each is marked ✓ or ✗ against what actually happened, grounded in the same verified data. A verdict is issued — 'held', 'partially held', 'reversed' — separate from whether the trade made money. A losing trade with sound reasoning is a fine outcome to note. So is a winning trade with lucky reasoning.

Original thesis · Apr 2026

NVDABUY · 78%
  • bull · Datacenter demand ramp
  • bull · Blackwell margin expansion
  • bear · Guidance concern

Retrospective · Aug 2026

VerdictThesis mostly held
  • ✓ Datacenter demand exceeded expectations (+52% YoY)
  • ✓ Blackwell shipped Q3 with ~65% gross margins
  • ✗ Guidance concern unfounded — beat & raised

Retrospectives

The loop closes itself.

Every thesis you save comes back for review. Did each bull point hold? Did the bears materialize? An honest scorecard — not just P&L — so your reasoning gets better, not just your luck.

The non-negotiables

◇

Grounded, never guessed

The model reasons only over live facts we fetch. Every number traces back to data. Missing data is stated, not fabricated.

◇

Two-sided, every time

A real bull case and a real bear case on every analysis. If neither is strong, the answer is HOLD — and the confidence reflects that honestly.

◇

Sizing is math, not vibes

The suggested position is computed deterministically from your buying power and risk tolerance. The AI supplies conviction; the dollars are code.
